Important limitation

Know what the tool does not promise

The hosted compiler selects pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, or LuaLaTeX from the document itself, runs the bibliography and index tools it needs, and repeats passes until cross-references settle, with shell escape disabled throughout. Projects that require system commands, Biber, unavailable packages, or unusually long builds may need a local environment. Editing collaboration is save-based, not simultaneous live typing.
