Convert PDF to an editable Word document, or place edits and permanent redactions directly on a PDF. You can try the converter and the PDF editor before creating an account; Jackal Reader needs one from the start.
A focused space for reading, text and area comments, colour highlights, and pen notes. Add, duplicate, reorder, or remove pages, then export an annotated PDF.
Sign in to open Jackal Reader →Account required. Jackal Reader keeps your PDFs and notes in a private library, so it opens after you sign in. New here? Create an account.
Upload one PDF to reconstruct its text, tables, and images in an editable DOCX file. Other conversion directions are paused while they undergo further testing.
Text, tables, and images are reconstructed from the PDF where possible. PDF stores page appearance rather than original authoring structure, so equations, complex reading order, and exact layout can still require review.
Preview one page at a time, place text, images, signatures, outlined or filled shapes, and separate true redaction areas, then export a new PDF.
